The origin of this idea is hidden in a quiet and picturesque village in the Záhorie region, where the hemp farm of the team around Konopán is located. During a summer session at the farm, a group of young guys thought about how to bring people closer to cannabis again and break down its negative stigma. Since hemp belongs to the same plant family as hops, the solution turned out to be clear and logical - to create the first Slovak hemp beer.
The basis of this first specialty was prepared after several months of concentrated work and care, during which the "hempers" grew a crop of beautiful hemp plants. Through many experiments and adjustments, they gradually discovered that the symbiosis of cannabis and beer brings a unique taste experience that is also appreciated by avid beer drinkers.
Their hemp beer is made exclusively from hemp grown on Slovak soil. They strive to make every bottle of this beer a celebration of nature, farming efforts and select ingredients. Their motto is "from farmer to glass"! This pale hemp lager is made from the finest hand-processed dry matter grown in organic quality, and it is this unique combination of flavours and aromas that makes this brew so unmistakable.
